Event: Seattle Home Show Opens February 15
Today is the day that the Seattle Home Show opens its doors at CenturyLink Field Event Center for its 70th annual trade show! This year’s theme is “We’re having a House Party!” and tons of home-related Northwest businesses will be in attendance to showcase their latest products and services. The show opens on Saturday, February 15th and runs for 9 days until February 23rd.
At the Seattle Home Show, the world is your oyster in terms of what elements of Northwest housing you want to focus on. This year’s show will focus pretty heavily on tech-related services and products, particularly in the home automation sphere. Design-wise, the focus is on modern styles heavily influenced by mid-century modern, and the use of smaller, more eco-friendly living spaces for aging baby boomers and minimalist young home and condo buyers.
Other highlights from this year’s show include:
– New home products such as the outdoor lighting system with smartphone controls
– Outdoor Living Garden with Northwest wine and beer sampling
– Made in America featuring exhibitor products made in the USA
– “Swim for Habitat for Humanity” charity swim
