With a total of 332 Open Houses in Seattle this weekend, there really is something for everyone.  I noticed a wide range of mid-century homes, including this updated option in Haller Lake.  The tiny house selection is limited, but this cute cape cod in Highland Park might fit the bill.  And, more than one house with a pool hit the market this week, like this one in Greenlake.  Here are three more picks to get you started on your search.

Neighborhood: Maple Leaf

Built in 1955, this 4 bedroom, 2.75 bath listed for $800,000 is the epitome of mid-century style.  Some of the remodeling choices would not have been my picks, but the bones of this house are solid and it wouldn’t be too much work to change up a few finishes.  There’s plenty to say about this home, but let’s jump straight to the pool because summer’s not over yet!  I promise.  The pool is a really nice size for an urban neighborhood, and heated, so you can swim laps for much of the temperate Seattle year.  Surrounded by a gorgeous garden and looked out upon from a giant deck, I imagine this pool and the yard are the true entertainment hub of the home.  Although, the open living room with double-sided fireplace surely makes for cozy rainy day living as well.

Neighborhood: Maple Leaf

Also in Maple Leaf, this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath house listed for $1,395,000 is completely new century.  It’s one of 4 brand new luxury homes by Built Urban overlooking the new Maple Leaf Reservoir Park.  Of course, there are all the amenities that come with 5 Star Built Green construction, including in-floor radiant heat and mini-split AC for efficient comfort.  I like the lighter grey finishes on the floors throughout the main living space and cabinets in the chef’s kitchen.  The rooms are all very spacious and full of light thanks to giant windows.  However, the options for outdoor living seem limited given just a small deck accessed by the kitchen and no stairs to the patio below.

Built in 2009, this charming 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse is listed for $579,000.  At 1,477 sq ft, it has a unique design which seems to make reasonable use of the space, but I can also see where it could feel a bit choppy.  Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and the third is down with fantastic access to a lovely and well-maintained little garden.  I think it would be best suited to an office or den space.  The proximity of this home to both lower and upper Queen Anne is a huge selling point, but so is the rooftop deck.  Not giant, but a perfect relaxation space with sunset views over Elliott Bay.
