Must See Open Houses: September 20th & 21st
There are 458 open houses this weekend. Starting with a newly constructed Eastlake rooftop deck with amazing views; house included. Then a quick trip downtown to a classic studio. Finishing with a new modern in Tangletown/Green Lake (wiki say’s Wallingford).
[update – comment: just ran a search based on days on the market, there are many listings going nowhere at their current price. Maybe time to start looking for motivated sellers]
A quick mention for 1422 NW 64th St unit A in Ballard, which Matt wrote about earlier this week, their open houses are on: Saturday, Sept. 20, 1-4 pm and Sunday, Sept. 21, 12-3 pm.

A newly constructed house in Eastlake. You’re paying for the view from the 736 square foot rooftop deck. $699,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house, with 1,746 square feet. The location is further up the hill, which means a better view, but also means I-5 is really close. Plenty of high privacy windows to let in light.
Open House: Saturday, Sept 20, 1-3 pm and Sunday, Sept 21, 1-3 pm
A classic 1913 city studio in the Fischer Studio Building. $195,000 gets you a 434 square foot condo with a 3/4 bathroom, high ceilings, and plenty of windows. North edge of downtown, so easy access to Belltown, South Lake Union and the waterfront. Walk to shops and Pike Place Market.
Neighborhood: Greenlake (Wallingford)
Open House: Saturday, Sept 20, 12-2 pm
It’s definitely not the same old box form that has become the standard for modern houses in Seattle. They have worked hard to break up the bulk, and use neighborhood friendly materials on the outside. This is a large house with 3,477 square feet, 5 bedrooms and 4.25 bathrooms. The asking price has been lowered from $1,475,000 to $1,399,950.
