Soaring Ceilings and Lofty Views

By November 4, 2014

Apartments, Capitol Hill

There are high ceilings and then there are the soaring ceilings in this new loft at the Lexicon on Capitol Hill.  From floor to the ceiling, we’re talking about 20+ feet and it feels higher than that.

Loft at Lexicon, located at 120 Harvard Ave. East

It helps that the top-floor unit has a mostly unobstructed view out west towards the Space Needle and Puget Sound. In fact, from where your bed might be, you get the impression that South Lake Union unfolds in front of you. I would spend most of my time upstairs…

This loft is one of 38 units in the boutique building just across the alley from Dick’s drive-in on Broadway. We toured the building recently and we’ll have more on the rest of the units later this week

Meanwhile, more on this loft -Unit 602 – which covers 785 sq ft. The loft’s height and abundant natural light  make the space feel bigger than its square footage. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Now, mind you, the ceiling isn’t the only thing that’s high about this unit. The rent is lofty as well at $2,700+ per month. If you’re interested, contact the cool team at Lexicon for a tour. Here are more photos…
