Zephyr is Done and 70% Leased
It is crazy how fast new apartments are leasing. Just got a blurb from Zephyr on Capitol Hill that they’re already 70% leased:
The newly completed Zephyr, designed by NK Architects, is a 90,649sf mixed-use apartment project designed to embrace its location as the gateway into Capitol Hill. Developed by B&O Development, a multifamily real estate development company, the project is located on East Olive Way within walking distance to a future light rail station, downtown and Capitol Hill.
The project is comprised of 4,784sf of street-level retail and restaurant space and a mix of 77 studios,1-and-2 bedrooms, live/work lofts and luxury penthouses with panoramic views of the city, Cascade and Olympic Mountains and Elliott Bay. “Zephyr’s design complements the neighborhood fabric,” commented Tim Weyand, CEO of NK Architects.
Each unit’s interior incorporates open floor plans lit by floor-to-ceiling windows with low VOC finishes and passive ventilation for clean indoor air. Water saving plumbing, energy efficient lighting and ENERGY STAR appliances are also integrated to keep utility costs low.
Residents will enjoy abundant common space including a beautifully landscaped rooftop deck with seating and a BBQ grill, an indoor club room, fitness center, dog walk, future electric car charging stations and secure bike storage. Zephyr’s prime location boasts a Walk Score of 95 providing easy access to transit, Seattle’s downtown amenities, South Lake Union, shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
At nearly 70% leased, Zephyr is LEED Gold certified.
