Salt Adapts Their Floorplates
It is great to see a developer responding to demand and adapting their floor plates. And it is also great to see more three bedroom condos hit the market as there are so few of them.
Due to a higher-than anticipated demand from downsizing buyers, Salt Ballard is adding new two & three-bedroom homes to their mix. These buyers are not just empty-nesters, they are also younger couples and singles who are looking to take advantage of this seller’s market, simplify their lifestyle and move to a more walkable area. Potential buyers are also thinking ahead to the mid-2016 anticipated completion date, which will give them time to get their homes ready to market.
Overall the Salt Ballard product mix changed, replacing 12 one bedroom homes with 8 new two & three bedroom plans, and decreasing the total number of homes in the building to 34.
Salt is holding an open house on Saturday, February 21st from 12-3pm at Greenfire Campus (2034 NW 56th Street) where visitors can view the new floorplans, see pricing & availability and get hands-on with interior feature samples.
The room at Greenfire Campus is located on the top floor with similar outlooks as Salt, which will give potential buyers an appreciation for the territorial and neighborhood views across Ballard.
