AIA Award Winner Needs Help

Queen Anne

We didn’t get permission to blog this place so you’ll need to login to see what we think.

It is a competitive market out there with few deals. 2441 Queen Anne Ave N might be an exception.

“The Sterling Residence” which was dubbed by Komo News in 2010 “The most hated house on Queen Anne” as well as a subject of a length feature in the Stranger in 2008, The House on Queen Anne Avenue is back on the market.

Listed at $645k for a 2007 AIA award winning 3,430 square foot house on a 3,600 square foot lot in Queen Anne it sounds almost too good to be true.

Well, it might be. Turns out there is extensive water damage on the second floor. So bring your contractor and forget about financing this place. The house was foreclosed on years ago and we’re guessing feel into disrepair and now needs some help to bring it back to its former glory.

But for the brave, this may be the best deal of the year because at one point this place was listed for $1.8m(!!!).
