We need more houseboats like this brand-new one that is moored at the Nickerson Marina.

Just launched, it is a one-bedroom, 540 square feet and looks like it would fit right in an issue of Dwell. It is listed at $499k.

Moorage at the Nickerson Marina is assumable and is $580 a month. I actually worked out of the Nickerson Marina for a year and a bit when I was starting a cooking-tech company with some buddies. While, a little bit of an odd location, you get to really experience our active marine industries – for instance, watching the dry-docks at Foss is pretty incredible, as is their steam-powered crane, you learn the schedule of the gravel barges, and get to watch fishing boats get re-conditioned. Plus your just a block from Rooftop Brewing and not too far from the QFC in Magnolia or everything in Ballard.
