Was reading the paper version of the PSBJ on Friday when this article caught my eye, Waterfront improvement district a fair way to fund necessary upgrades:

The median assessment for condo owners is $2,400. They have the ability to pay over time — 20 years with a modest interest rate — which brings this assessment down to about $10/month.

Which coincided with a client wondering if the condo they were offering on was in the assessment catch area.
