Weekly Wrapup
It was a slow week for real estate news, and a slower week for new listings (blame father’s day and graduation season). Looking at the calendar we expect two more strong weeks of new listings before the summer slow down. While there are fewer new listings over the summer, it is a good time to make a move on a home that has been sitting on the market. If you’re hoping for better selection though, we advise waiting to see what’s available in early September when we typically see a nice jump in new listings after Labor Day.
Our favorite listing this week would be this Seward park custom home.
If you’re looking for a mid-century, there are a lot of options this week! Magnolia tops the list with three – a 1946, a 1952, a 1953 (for only $629k!), or you could go “newer” with a Magnolia home by Next Century Modern. Or else, there’s an updated Broadview mid-century, and one in Meadowbrook. A little newer, this 1966 Green Lake mid-century/contemporary has an amazing yard and views of the lake.
If you’re looking for a loft, there’s an updated vintage one at the Portofino, or a newer one at the Brix. Or check out photo 11 of “this prime development opportunity“. It will be sad when they tear that building down.
Happy Father’s Day!
