First Light Receives Permit, Still Moving Forward

By March 18, 2020

First Light Seattle

Good news for our clients buying at First Light, the 459-unit condo to be built at 300 Virginia St; the PSBJ reports that First Light received their permit on Monday and is moving forward with breaking ground despite the coronavirus impact.

“We are not stopping construction as a result of the virus,” [First Light’s Developer] said. “People still need houses, and we are here for the long run.”

Of the 459 homes in First Light, 303 have been reserved, and Gillespie said he is unaware of any buyers backing out due to the coronavirus or other reasons.

Looks too like they’re now 66% pending, they’ve been hovering under 65% for a while.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
