Weekly wrap-up: new listings flat, pendings up 17% w-o-w

The number of new listings last week was about the same as the week before. This isn’t too surprising as I suspect some sellers are waiting to list after May 4th in the hopes that the stay-at-home directive is lifted and buyer activity is stronger. However, buyer activity is already strong, just check the keybox activity, and the number of homes going under contract was up 17% week-over-week; while out touring clients this weekend we saw lots of others out touring and most new listings had offer deadlines.

Of the 259 new listings last week, only two stood out and they’re both already pending! An AIA award winner with amazing views and a remodeled home at Madison Lofts. Also, we’re still looking for a buyer for our modern listing in Fremont with double car garage. 

In other news, we’re excited to welcome two agents to Urban Living, longtime friends of ours Collin Horn and Klaus Gosma. Collectively they’ve helped over 800 clients buy and sell. Collin has already helped a buyer get under contract on a new listing for less than its asking. So if you’re looking for an agent, we have you covered.
