The Lofts delivers another Pioneer Square classic

By May 22, 2020

Pioneer Square, Seattle Condos, Seattle Lofts, The Lofts at 210 Third

As we’ve noted pretty much every time a listing has gone live at The Lofts in Pioneer Square, this building is a picture-perfect example of classic loft style: versatile residences in a brick former warehouse. The homes still have their warehouse shape and features—exposed brick, thick ceiling beams—with standalone amenities built within it. 210 3rd Avenue S Unit 3D delineates sections as a bedroom, utility room, and two bathrooms with walls that are tall enough to be private, but don’t get in the way of the larger aesthetic.

We covered its upstairs neighbor 4A back in March, and the basic idea is similar, but with a slightly different personality. A concrete fireplace with tile facing gives it a less modern, more hearth-like feel. Its brick arch is integrated with the kitchen, framing a shelf above the sink. This choose-your-own-adventure vibe is a loft staple—shaping a unique home from a blank, brick canvas.

A bit of history: It was a warehouse for tanning, paper, and drug companies before its big residential transformation. You can see it in the old days here.
