There’s only 9 homes on the southern side of the southern most floating home dock on the east side of Lake Union, offering the best south facing unobstructed views of the city skyline. After years and years of no sales on the south side of the 2017 dock #G came up for sale earlier this summer and went pending in just a day for its list price of $3.75m. For those who missed on that one, #E hit the market last week at $1.895m.

We got a look at it Friday and it is amazing how much home they packed in 808 square feet! Two bedrooms, a loft, lofted storage, full bath with clawfoot tub and even a laundry room.

The view is of course to die for, but we love the natural wood, the nooks and crannies and smart layout. The vaulted ceiling and view definitely make it live larger than the square footage would imply. It is also pretty private given you have neighbors on either side.

Also consider that subject to co-op approval, for $1.2m-$1.5m you could float a brand new nearly 2,000 square foot floating home in…
