Weekly wrap-up: new listings slowing

By August 24, 2020

Market Report

As summer winds down (say it ain’t so!) the number of new listings is finally slowing as people take one last break before work from home (or school from home) restarts.

For buyers who haven’t found what they’re looking for we’re counseling patience as we expect to see a big jump in new listings the first couple weeks after labor day. Though we have two sellers trying to beat the rush – we just listed a co-op in Lower Queen Anne and will be listing a condo in Woodinville tomorrow. We also lowered the price of our one-of-a-kind listing at Nexus and our loft-y brownstone at the Brix.

Our fave new listing is this $11m waterfront home that is pending after only 2 days on market! Still active – a contemporary on Mercer Island and in the city – book lovers will love this loft at the Block. There’s also a penthouse loft at Trace, a contemporary Pike/Pine condo with 22′ ceilings, and a one bedroom at the Four Seasons for $2,300 a square foot. Or there’s this church that hit the market but at a big increase from its last sale.

Want to escape the city? How about a vineyard outside Ellensburg? Or this waterfront contemporary on Orcas?

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
