Market Report

The smoke arrived late enough last week that we still saw 445 new listings after the long weekend, making it the second busiest week of the year for new listings. We brought on two –  a top-floor Capitol Hill co-op and a nearly totally updated condo at Waterfront Landings. But it will be interesting to see what happens this week with the smoke lingering longer than expected. I know we’re holding off on bringing a waterfront listing on until its views return. We’ve also had a few buyers put their plans to see homes on hold until air quality improves.

Our favorite listings last week were a $4.785m Jim Olson looking out to Seattle from North Admiral, a $5m George Suyama in Washington Park, and a large Belltown loft. Want to get out of the city? We like this brand new home by Layline Design + Build on Bainbridge.

Strange times indeed.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
