Weekly wrap-up: welcome 2021!

The start of a new year usually brings a large crop of new buyers but I expect this year we’ll start with even more people looking to buy. However the challenge is most sellers think the best time to list is in the late spring or summer (when really it is much earlier in the year) so there is usually little inventory to start the year. This often leads to crazy bidding wars for single-family homes, so our counsel this time of year for buyers is patience, while for sellers, it is to list sooner rather than later!

The only home to catch our eye last week was this remodeled mid-century in Sunset Hill. Though I suspect we’ll be seeing some good new listings this week.
