Seattle weekly wrap-up: last week of summer slow down

By August 30, 2021

Market Report

Last week was another slower week for real estate in Seattle, but not as slow as I was expecting. For instance, on Sunday I was working on three offers – even in the middle of the spring (the busy season), I wasn’t doing that! I expect this week to be slow ahead of the long weekend, then we’ll see a flood of listings after Labor Day. There is certainly plenty of buyer demand, the big question is will there be enough listings for all the buyers…

This Mercer Island house was my fave last week, but it went pending in three days! I also like this Ralph Anderson with a pool on the Eastside.

In condo news, Shoresmith didn’t last long as a condo and is now an apartment building and I may have missed noting that One88 is sold out!

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
