Eastside weekly wrap-up: even the slow season is still hot!

By October 9, 2021

Market Report

We’ve been talking about the seasonal slow down for a few weeks now but buyers are still snatching up every available listing. 177 homes were listed and buyers put 170 homes under contract this week (171 new listings the week prior by the way). Most homes are still getting multiple offers and a lot of buyers are getting beat out.

Even homes that need work are going quickly – we got beat on a partially completed Mercer Island remodel that got an early cash offer compelling enough to not wait for the review date. Sellers, we usually say to wait until the new year but there are enough buyers searching for homes that you could list now and do well.

Several homes caught our eye this week! A penthouse unit at One Lincoln Tower and Conner Homes released the last home at Heron in Kirkland. For midcentury lovers, we saw five(!): two great remodels in Hunts Point and Lochmoor and three untouched gems in Glendale, Vuecrest, and Bridle Trails (check out the inner courtyard!).

For waterfront living, a rare Gold Coast home in Kirkland hit the market with an indoor swimspa and sauna in addition to life on Lake Washington!
