Eastside weekly wrap-up: new listings jump 28% week-over-week

A glimmer of hope for buyers this week! New listings jumped 28% week-over-week. It’s not enough as things are still very competitive out there. We helped one buyer beat out 11 offers on a property down in Maple Valley!

Unsurprisingly, buyers put 132 homes under contract last week (a week with 137 new listings). Sellers continue to do well listing early in the year while buyers are likely trying to take advantage of mortgage rates remaining unchanged last week.

For homes we liked this week, a Vuecrest home designed by Tom Kunilholm listed at $8m was the stand-out. For those looking for a remodel opportunity, a corner lot is available in Clyde Hill for $3.3m!
