Escala (sub) penthouse goes to auction
Whoa! That $11.5M (sub) penthouse at Escala that has been on the market for going on a year is going to auction on June 18th. Concierge Auctions is running the show.
Escala penthouse PH101, aka unit 3001, is quite the home; 5,170 square feet, three beds, 3.5 baths, that was recently redesigned by our friends at NB Design.
What's this home's history? Well, the sellers paid $9M in 2019, taking out a $6.2M mortgage at 2.875% (remember when rates were that low!?) and initially listed it at $12M before reducing the price to $11.5M. Needless to say, we're very curious to see how much it fetches at auction!
Update! The auction has been canceled and instead they dropped the price to $8,750,000.
