Seattle weekly wrap-up: surprisingly, over 400 new listings
We were surprised to see the number of new listings increase 7.5% week-over-week; usually, at this time of year, new listings start declining as everyone heads out for summer vacations. Though we contributed to that stat as we brought on two townhome listings last week – one is already pending with multiple offers on it and the second we expect to receive multiple offers tomorrow. For both, we thought we were pricing at market but clearly, there are a lot of buyers out there willing to pay whatever it takes to get a place.
Given over 400 new listings in Seattle, a lot caught our eye – a $12.5m midcentury modern on the water in Hunts Point, a $4.7m Cedar Park home, and a loft in Fremont. Looking for a Mercer Island midcentury check out this $1.75m one, and this $1.9m one. Need a vacation place? Check out this super unique “tower” by Lake Kachess nearby is this $3.5m log “cabin”. Or how about this midcentury on Bainbridge Island?
