$300K off a home? Yep, it’s that season
This is the best time of year for buyers, and we’ve got a few swinging for the fences. One had a big win this week, negotiating a seller down $300K on a $3M waterfront home in Leschi. Another came this close to snagging $100K off a home, only to get edged out by a slightly higher offer. And we’ve got one more buyer deep in negotiations with a new condo building who should be able to secure a screaming deal if they can close by year-end.
It really does feel like the real estate version of Black Friday out there: great deals to be had, limited quantities of true “doorbusters,” and the occasional listing so odd you cringe.
Rates have dipped, too, hovering near three-year lows. And if you’re a jumbo buyer or have a solid banking relationship, you’re likely seeing rates in the high 4s to low 5s.
Happy Thanksgiving and deal hunting!
