Interesting Sales This Week

There were 50 condo and townhouse sales in Seattle this week according to Redfin. Here are a few of them:

This three-bedroom townhouse in Ballard sold last week for $370,000. I like the way they did the fencing so that the plants are protected but still visible from the street.

The lowest sale price last week was $147,500 for this one-bedroom unit in Sandpoint. That’s a pretty good deal considering that it comes with a parking spot. It was built in 1977, so if it hasn’t been renovated, that might explain the low price.

The highest sale price last week was $875,000 for this two-bedroom townhouse in Laurelhurst. Nice kitchen, AC, it even has an in-house elevator. I wonder whether the last resident had limited mobility or was just lazy…

This one-bedroom unit in Phinney Ridge sold last week for $372,950. First floor units always bug me because they are at sidewalk level, and there are people on sidewalks. The lister for this unit craftily called it a “garden level” unit. It does appear to have some fenced off area that’s mostly concrete, but there is a small strip of dirt around the edge.

I love the big windows and open floor plan on this two-bedroom unit that sold last week in Wallingford. Besides, who wouldn’t want to live in a building called Lucas Place? Hello? Epic Star Wars parties must happen every day in the lobby…
