Fischer Studios Loft-like 1 Bedroom

Expansive loft-like layout in this 1,339 square foot 1 bedroom, 1.75 bath that recently popped on the market for $429,900 in the Fischer Studios building at 1519 3rd Ave, #302.  Great combo of industrial detailing and historic bones.  The building is on the National Historic Register, but the concrete floors, exposed duct work, and raw structural elements lend a very modern feel.

The true surprise feature is a massive closet room off the master, which already has built-in organizing systems and could easily be built out further to accommodate an extensive wardrobe.  Or, convert it into a spacious home office.  Main bathroom features marble tile and dual heads in the over-sized shower.  There’s an extra-large soaking tub in the second bath, which could use some updating.  But, always a bonus to have two baths.

Great place but it has no parking. I wonder if it’s possible to buy a space in the building separately otherwise you’ll be replacing car window way too often

Anyone have anymore info on this Space? maybe info for the owner?
    Id like to contact him.

Have you tried looking them up in county records? Or sending them a letter?

  • guest

No, I went by the building and rang the number about a month ago. It went to someone’s cellphone voice mail. Thats all I can do at this point. Can you help me?

  • guest

Well, I don’t know the person so I’d suggest just sending them an old fashioned letter!
