Eastside weekly wrap-up: new listings rebound after long weekend
In our Eastside wrap-up this week, we’re pleased to see new listings rebound after the long weekend. 292 new listings hit the market on the Eastside last week. Likely these were the sellers who were advised by their agents to wait until after the holiday. It’s also likely that it’s the last big push for new listings until Labor Day as this year appears to be following the “normal” patterns of 2019 versus 2020. Buyers, we’ll still see some listings hit the market each week but keep an eye out for a bump in early September!
Speaking of buyers, 145 homes were put under contract last week as not everyone took the weekend off. Expect this to jump back up next week in response to big jump in new listings this week. This is despite home prices continuing to climb on Eastside (June single-family market report) and another month of record numbers of condos under contract (June condo market report).
For cool homes, Heron’s third home, #4, has hit the market and this end-unit condo in Bellevue and this freestanding townhome in Kirkland are both already pending. And don’t miss this one-of-a-kind single-family home in North Bend!
