Eastside weekly wrap-up: new listings up 8% week-over-week
In our Eastside weekly wrap-up this week, new listings have popped back up 8% week-over-week at 260. This is good news after dropping 19% two weeks ago and remaining flat last week. However, 260 new listings this week is still 17% below 2019 levels. May is historically the peak month of the year for new listings and in 2019, next week was the largest week for listings – fingers crossed!
Pending home sales also rebounded from the week prior, increasing 5% week-over-week as buyers put 226 homes under contract. 70% of those were single-family homes as the hot sellers’ market continues. Stay tuned for our April market update on the trends for condos on the Eastside.
Homes that caught our eye this week: an Enatai contemporary with 83 feet of waterfront that went pending in three days! In Kirkland, this wooded contemporary retreat in Kirkland and across Juanita Bay, this coastal west facing home with oversized windows. In Samammish, this modern home sits in it’s own park and this charming bungalow on the east side of Lake Samammish.
