Wanted: Used Saarinen Coffee Table

I’m finally getting around to finishing my place and I’m a few items short so here’s the first in a series of posts about finishing the place.

At the top of my list is an oval Saarinen coffee table with a white base and either marble or white laminate top. I’d love to find one used and I’m willing to pick up from Portland to Vancouver.

    Nice choice. You should get some white Panton chairs to go with it for the full Scandinavian modern design theme. I have four Panton chairs and they’re surprisingly comfortable.

    You might want to check out various auction houses in the area (e.g. Pacific Galleries: http://www.pacgal.com/). You aren’t assured of winning (or even what’s offered) but I’ve picked up nice artwork at competitive prices.
