Madison Lofts sent out a self congratulatory newsletter today:
- 600 tours in two weeks
- 5 of 20 sold
- They were on King 5 because they over priced their units by $200/square foot.
- They think this article means it is a good time to buy.
It baffles me why these marketing companies don’t put their newsletters online and link to them from their sites.

After touring Madison Lofts, I think they are in for a really tough time. The outside of the building and the lobby areas are very nice, but the condo layouts are very poky. Despite the 15 ft ceilings they feel claustrophobic and I felt like I was going to hit my head on something. Even the penthouses would be a squeeze for more than one person.
The finishes in the bathrooms are also fairly basic which is expected given the price point of the smaller condo’s, but I would have expected more in the penthouses at $1m+.
The placement of the aircon units is horrible and would make it impossible to put up bookshelves. Why didn’t they put ducted aircon in?

ha! I saw that newsletter too and thought how arrogant it sounded.
Whoever is handling the sales on this one has butchered this big time. The failed auction, the huge price drops, and now the “slapping ourselves on the back” newsletter which really makes no sense at all.
Just wow.

I recently toured madison lofts and have pretty much the same opinion as everyone who has posted so far. Any opinions as to whether or not they will bargain? Those units have some terrible finishes (carpets already pilling) as well as the boo boo air con units. I love the deck size(mezzanine) and the overall layout on most units though, i may throw a lowball offer their way and see where it goes. Any other cool loft projects for sale outside of Veer,Madison, and Brix in the 4-550 thousand range??

Easy folks, a few people in the survey commented about the (previously) frequent negative back and forth amongst commentors. Fortunately things have been pretty good recently so let’s please keep it that way.
