MLS Watch: Multi-level Places Downtown

Millennium Tower

You’d never guess that Millennium Tower, just across the streets from Redfin HQ , would have condos atop of it. Another (there’s already a few units on the market from $1.2 million to $8 million) just came on the market today for $4.6 million. It last sold in spring of ’07 for $3.9 million.

Unit 1501 is 4,500 square feet, 3 beds, 3.5 baths, 2 stories, and on and on.

121 S Jackson

Unit 6 is back on the market. It went off in September. Oddly the 121 South Jackson site indicates it as sold. I wonder what happened? Anyhow, it’s 1,776 square feet, 2 beds, for just under a million.

And if you think you can buy either of these places on a salary of $20k a year you better read this article first, $1.5M condo on $20K income? Prospective buyers lose $175K in Bellevue.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

If I were a betting man, I'd say Mr. $20K does not exist. Too bad the reporter didn't do any verification of the facts before treating us to the “Inquirer” version of this disingenuous story.

How can anyone justify the price on that Millenium Tower condo? 2007 was the height of the boom – and they've increased the price over 10%!
