Two Boutique Projects + Two Downtown Ones

I’m back from Maui!

While I was gone the New York Times had two articles you may find interesting. The first is And Do I Hear 2 Million for That Condo? No? 1 Million? Sold! and the second is Apartment Buyers Abandoning 6-Figure Deposits.

And the Marlborough officially went into foreclosure. Poor Live Historic.

And here’s a few new listings that caught my eye…

Lakeview Lofts

2354 Minor Ave E (Eastlake) looks promising:

Cristalla

Unit 1909 at Cristalla looks nice:

Though pricey at close to $1.9 mil.

Cosmo

Unit 3102 (plan B) has been on the market for over 600 days! In an effort to move it looks like they dropped the price $200k down to $699k. Back in June this thing was listed for over a million. I wonder what it was originally listed at?

744 Harvard

744 Harvard is a 4 unit development on north Capitol Hill (more photos on Vicaso). Here’s unit #101 on Redfin.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at matt@urbnlivn.com, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

You can also find me on Twitter, @MattGoyer, or LinkedIn.

This unit closed in May 2007 for $884K. Looks like a case of riding the pricing down $20K to $40K at a time. This $200K drop looks like a serious effort to move the unit. If it is a northeast corner it is a good location for that building.
