Olive 8 Phasing Out Williams Marketing For CBB

June 5th, 2009 · Comments · By Matt

Just received this email forwarded to me. Looks like Olive 8 is phasing out Williams Marketing for Coldwell Bainer Bain – Builder Solutions by having Williams Marketing focus on existing buyers and CBB focus on getting new ones.

R.C.Hedreen Co and Williams Marketing Inc. are pleased to announce that effective June 6th, they will be augmenting the Olive 8 sales team with Coldwell Banker Bain – Builder Solutions. You will be seeing some new faces in the sales center as Anne Hoving and Amy Sedgwick will represent the CBB team on-site. Anne and Amy will be focusing on the continued sales of Olive 8 homes.

Carrie DeBruler of Williams Marketing will remain on-site to work with existing homebuyers and follow up with agents and prospects that we have been working with. While she can be reached at the sales center phone number, she will also have an exclusive Olive 8 phone number where you can reach her at (206) 850-9673. Carrie will be also be available by email cdebruler@williamsmarketing.com and will be on site by appointment. Emily Musselwhite is moving to another Williams Marketing sales center and we wish her the best.

If you have any questions feel free to call us. We look forward to working with you.

Here’s the other Seattle projects Williams Marketing is currently working on:

  • 22 West Lee – 3 homes left
  • 5th & Madison – ?

More fun for the new O8 marketing team... When walking back home from Cap Hill late nights, I routinely pass O8. In recent weeks, I've noticed that the small plaza area across Olive from O8 is more and more frequently a late night gathering spot with behavior that's prompted me to alter my route a bit a couple times. Just over a week ago, I helped a woman being harrassed by an overly aggressive, somewhat unbalanced man kittycorner from O8. And this last Thursday, there was a man standing with his back to Urbane near the O8 residents entrance urinating onto the street.

I've been walking this route for over 7 years now, and it's been a pretty uneventful walk until recently.

Williams has been around for a long time and I afraid their run is just about over. Their model of 'site sales' will go away, remember Windermere Onsite? WMI peaked with Cristalla and leveraged that sucess and rode the bubble. It wasn't what they did right, yes they are capable, but who couldn't sell real estate from 2002-2005 and make money, you just had to be there.

Leslie struck while the iron was hot, but as Ray Pepper ( for those who know him) would say "the buffet is over"

Leslie reminds me of suze ormond :-)

I agree !! Look at the Marketing on the Marselle Condo. With 14 days to close has anyone seen any big push (or any effort at all) to sell these units? Williams Marketing is dropping the ball.

Leslie has had a great run. Good luck to her.
Nobody in this business, remember Albright Realty, lasts forever.

No offense to them, but how the hell is Williams still in business? Seems all their sources of revenue are gone. We all k ow thy aren't getting it done with resales.

Hard to sell a high rise unit which offers limited views with potential to lose more and an inflated price tag. There are only so many suckers in the market, and this downturn has killed most of them off.

Olive 8 will mastic8 on itself until it's too l8!

5th & Madison has 9 units left. They still have the 2007 move-in pricing. No wonder they haven't sold anything lately.
