I love this two-level modern listing just next to the Redfin offices at Market Place Tower North. It’s unit #E18 and is listed at $1,495m for 1,919 square feet:

The unit has very similar views to my office. I love watching the ferries come and go, the cargo container ships and the police/coast guard are always buzzing around.

    The ability to open those glass walls up during the summer time would be amazing. What an incrediblely unique property.

    i'm pretty sure i toured this place (or a unit on the same level) and i don't see $300k in improvements in the photographs. it sold for $1,180,000 in 2006 at the height of the boom. interior improvements like a new kitchen, paint and a remodel might be worth $100k max, but the value of the unit itself has decreased 20% since then.

    i don't see how units in a condo which is nearly 30 years old justify nearly $800 sf. most of the sales in this building are closer to the $500 sf level.

    Pretty spendy. The remodel looks nice but the entry and common areas in this building aren't to the same standard and don't compete with new developments. For 700 a square foot you could buy the same place in a new building like Olive 8, Escala or 1521.
