NPR on Seattle: Condo Buildings Stand Half Empty

May 2nd, 2010 by Matt · 1 Comment · Uncategorized

Last week NPR’s Marketplace ran a story on Seattle’s condo scene Condo buildings stand half empty, as part of a wider body of coverage on the Seattle real estate scene.

In it Jeff Tyler of NPR gets a tour of downtown condos with a Seattle auctioneer, tours Bellevue Towers, attends the 5th and Madison auction, talks to people who bought at auction and ends with a few sound bites from someone who writes a Seattle condo blog sick of fixing leaky toilets.

My favourite is also the condo which would've been easy walking distance to the DC Metro. Where not only was the condo dirty, cramped, dark, non-updated, and generally not up to being seen.
