Urban Living Meetup – TONIGHT

Urban Living meetup tonight from 6 to 8pm at Fremont’s Birdhouse at 115 N 41st St. No presentations. No speakers. Just a fun time! And thanks so much to the owner for letting us send off this house to the next owner in style. And to Sam and Julie for handling the logistics around the location.

Now for those of you on the fence about this please come! Even if it is for five minutes to say hi. Meeting you is a big motivator for us to keep going as Urban Living is a labor of love. Unlike Curbed we don’t have big brand national advertisers. Unlike the other real estate blogs in the city we’re not real estate agents and this isn’t a lead generation tool. Unlike some neighborhood blogs we don’t do this full time. The few dollars we do bring in goes straight to paying part-time writers like Bernard, Suzi, Kara and Chad. In fact, Urban Living lost money last year and I had to make up the loss out of pocket.

So we’ll see you at 6pm right? :) I’ll be the guy with the black t-shirt with yellow bike on it.
