Who Names Seattle’s Condos and Apartments?

I was hopefully that King5’s piece on the naming of Seattle’s apartment buildings would be an interest peek inside marketing firm Red Propeller but it is sadly a short puff piece with no real substance.

As developers continue to build apartments all over Seattle at a rapid rate, we wanted to find out who decides what to call all these new apartment buildings.

It turns out one company of only eight employees handles a lot of naming Seattle’s newest buildings.

Red Propeller is a real estate marketing firm based in downtown Seattle. Chances are, if it’s a new development in Seattle, the firm probably plays some role in naming it.
