My favorite home of the week is likely a little surprising given all the other amazing homes we blogged about. But 817 NE 75th St really shined in person reminding me of my childhood home and the homes of my architect dad’s friends. Lots of levels, wall of windows, lots of nooks and crannies for kids to hid in (or just AirBNB out the bottom level.)

Yes, it is sandwiched between a busy street and I-5, but the noise is a dull roar and once inside, relatively quiet. Certainly no worse than living downtown. But even though it is sandwiched, the lot is very private with a ton of trees and a nice south facing view of the city.

Priced at $850k, you’ll want to budget for refreshing the interior of this one.
