Mercer Island Waterfront Contemporary

Mercer Island

It is a tough choice with so many great homes hitting the market this week, but I think 4465 Forest Ave SE on Mercer Island is my favorite.

On the west side of Mercer Island, in the middle of the island, sitting on a half acre of waterfront, the home designed by Tom Maul and Rob Hutchison is incredible with walls of floor-to-ceiling windows that open up, exposed architectural concrete, courtyards with big boulders and a guest house!

At 6,420 square feet, plenty of space for five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. You also have a huge kitchen which looks to be a chef’s dream with a gas cooktop, a gas wok burner, an induction cooktop and double ovens. This kitchen is definitely one I’d love (I prefer induction, but you need gas for woks, and a gas cooktop would be nice to have occasionally!)

Hard to believe it was built in 2006.

Priced at $6,895,000.
