Seattle weekly wrap-up: just 66 new listings last week

Market Report

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Only 66 new listings last week, as listing agents and sellers assumed buyers would be distracted with the holidays. Nonetheless, 214 listings went pending last week. We expect new listings to bump up next week then taper off for the rest of the year. We also expect buyers to remain pretty active likely just limited by what little is for sale.

Of course, not much to catch our eye, but an untouched midcentury in Normandy Park did hit the market and if you’re a fan of the 70s and Edmonds check out this one.

In other news, my wife and I closed on a 4-plex on top of Queen Anne. It has been vacant since a fire 11 years ago, so we’re looking forward to rebuilding it, hopefully doubling the unit count, and giving a few lucky tenants a sweet view out to the Sound and beyond.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
