Seattle condo November market report: median price slides

By December 10, 2021

Market Report

The numbers for what the Seattle condo market did in November are out.

The median price for Seattle condos (excluding new construction) in November was $467,500 down from $486,250 in October. The median price is also down as compared to last year when the median price was $475,000.

Here’s a deep dive into all the numbers…

Like the median price, the median price per square foot was down from $606 in October to $564 in November. Some people got some deals!

In November 237 condos went under contract well above the norm for this time of the year.

Meanwhile, days on market dropped to 11.

The number of new listings we saw in November was 167 which is pretty typical for this time of year.

At the end of November, there were 315 homes for sale. Down from the peak when we saw in Q4-2020 but higher than some years at this time.

Months of supply is the measure of how long it’d take to sell all the condos on the market. Months of supply dropped in November, still making this a sellers market.
