Urban Living reader Phil wrote in to tell us he loves this place. While not totally my style, I do enjoy the beach! And was also happy to discover some photos of this place from when it last sold at the end of April as a fixer.

How about a Seattle waterfront property? No, I don’t mean on some little lake, I’m talking 50 ft of your own beach on Puget Sound. They call it a “Nantucket inspired revival”, I call it a wide open floor plan layout in a beach house wrapping. For $1,499,900, this 4 bedroom house at 2619 Perkins Ln W gives you a grand room with vaulted ceiling, large modern kitchen and 2 sets of doors that fold right back, allowing you free access to the deck and Sound views. Halfway down to your beach, you can rest at your lower patio area. Though the cabinetry is an odd choice and I would lose the chandelier, the views cannot be improved upon.
So it is listed at $1.5m now. Last sold at the end of April for $990k.
