A Hard Hat Tour of The Emerald
Last week we got a sneak peek inside the Emerald with a hard hat tour of the building. Hard hat tours at this stage are not for the faint of heart – we rode up the construction elevator to the penthouse (which had no walls and no windows) and then climbed a staircase hanging off the side of the building to get to the top floor which will house the Olympic Room but right now is just a concrete slab with some very basic guardrails.
Next toured the north-west facing penthouse one of our clients is purchasing. While cloudy, the views were still amazing and remarkably the north-west units will have great view of the Space Needle.
We finished off on one of the lowest floors of the building where they’re well along in getting not just the drywall and floors done, but kitchens and bathrooms are already in for many units.
If you’re thinking of buying at Emerald, let us know! We’ve helped four other clients buy there so know the building well. We’ve also helped clients at all the other new construction projects so can point you in the right direction if you’re undecided which one is right for you.
