Eastside weekly wrap-up: new listings slow; pending sales hit new high for 2021
In our wrap up this week, new listings slowed as expected and we’re expecting them to continue to slow over the next two weeks as we head into the Fourth of July weekend. Buyers likely have just a couple of weeks before the available homes become even slimmer pickings. Meanwhile, the market continues to be hot! Buyers put more homes under contract this week than any other week this year. 75% were single-family homes – buyers are still looking for more space even as we approach companies returning to the office later this summer.
Homes we liked this week – a midcentury in Medina on the market for the first time, a cool NW contemporary near Lake Sammamish (already pending!), and another NW contemporary in Meydenbauer. This lake front home in Juanita is ready for summer with an eighteen foot folding wall between living room and deck! We also liked the remodel of this midcentury modern in Kirkland with a private putting green. In new construction, the big news is that One88 is down to the last two developer units!
