KODA Condos Coming to the International District in 2020

More condos are on the way!
It was just announced that a new condo project, KODA Condominiums, will break ground in 2018 and will likely complete by 2020. Being developer by Da Li Development out of Taiwan, the project is being designed by KMD Architects and marketed by Realogics.
With 200+ units and pricing in the $300s, this will likely be a very attractive project for value oriented condo buyers. Note, that there are planning on only 77 parking spots, but given the close proximity to transit, this should’t be an issue for many buyers.
You can get a sneak peek at a design preview event this weekend. From their press release:
Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) and KMD Architects jointly announce a neighborhood open house and design preview event will be held for KODA Condominiums from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 22nd and Sunday, July 23rd at Hirabayashi Place, a community center located at 442 S. Main Street in downtown Seattle. Located at the corner of South Main Street and 5th Avenue, the proposed mid-rise by Da-Li Development is currently designed as 18 stories and 200+ condominiums with a targeted ground breaking in early 2018 and occupancy by 2020, pending entitlements by The City of Seattle.
