Seattle weekly wrap-up: 422 new listings, that’s a lot!
We saw 422 new listings in Seattle last week; the first week of the year that we saw over 400 new listings. My guess is that we have maybe one or two more big weeks of new listings then we’ll start to see new listings slow down. Memorial Day is usually a tipping point. Meanwhile, on the Eastside, new listing growth has been anemic compared to 2019. No one wants to sell.
As for buyers, they slowed down last week in terms of the number of homes going under contract, but bidding wars were alive and well.
My fave new listing is likely this Boardmoor midcentury remodel. First access was yesterday and it was pending by 6pm! If you missed out on it, check out this Magnolia midcentury remodel instead. But for big lake views, we like this modern in Madrona. Loft fans, don’t miss this one at 80 S Jackson.
