Seattle weekly wrap-up: 71 offers!?
It seems like more and more of my day is spent gossiping with other agents and clients about the crazy bidding wars we’re seeing. Here’s just a sampling of gossip from the last week!
- A 1,900 square foot home in Fremont sold for $1.874m. 58% over asking. 29 offers.
- The Lakeridge midcentury listed at $510k had 71 offers! Pending in the $800s
- The Bryant contemporary closed at $2.215m
- A Bridle Trails home sold for just shy of a $1m over asking
Fortunately for buyers, we had 281 new listings in Seattle last week, up 47% week-over-week. Having more listings means more options for buyers and slightly fewer crazy bidding wars.
Of those 281 new listings don’t miss the photos for this Lower Queen Anne condo, it is something else! Other listings we liked, were a nicely remodeled home on Queen Anne and a contemporary Belltown loft (already pending).
For vacation homes, I was digging this one with 1300′ of no-bank waterfront but it is pending (they moved their offer deadline up from Thursday to Sunday). Or want a project? Here’s a $450k waterfront short sale on Vashon. Or a move-in-ready remodeled midcentury in Lemolo.
Looking for a turnkey Airbnb? We listed one in Fremont that grosses $10-20k a month in the summer.
