Seattle weekly wrap-up: new listings up again!?

New listings should be slowing down, but are up for a second week in a row which is a welcome relief for frustrated buyers! More new listings coupled with a slow down in buyers putting homes under contract should mean less competition for homes and the median price continuing to trend downward.

We had a busy week of closings! The penthouse loft we listed at the Fix, closed, above asking. We helped a couple sell their artist loft off-market for a profit after buying it just last year and then simultaneously close on a townhome. We also helped a couple close on our neighbor’s floating home.

Nothing locally caught our eye this week :(. But if you’re looking to build a ski cabin, there’s a lot for sale close to the Hyak base. Love the rendering!
