Weekly Wrap-up
Less than 150 new listings this week, but buyers are still active!
We got into a bidding war over a home in North Seattle (and fortunately won), are in the midst of a bidding war for a home in Magnolia that just hit the market and a mid-century home in Beaux Arts we favorited went pending in three days. Meanwhile inventory continues to dwindle as some sellers have grown frustrated and are pulling listings to try and find renters instead.
Of those 150 new listings, the best one is a stunning mid-century in Woodway, followed by a NW contemporary on Mercer Island. If you need a large new home, here’s a 6,700 square foot option in Windermere for $4.35m.
If you’re looking for a deal, we’re starting to round-up end of year bonuses, typically associated with new construction as some developers are looking to close a few more deals by end of year.
Condo news this week – Gridiron has reduced prices again as they still have 34 units still to sell four years in, Avenue Residences is starting sales the week of Thanksgiving (!?), and a new condo named Shoresmith is being built in SLU.
Have a good weekend!
PS. here’s your chance to build a lodge style hotel at Mt Baker!
