Weekly Wrap-up
It was a busy week with over 400 new listings hitting the market, making it what will likely be the busiest week for new listings for the second half of the year. From here on out we’ll see fewer and fewer new listings and likely won’t see this level of new listings until March 2020.
With all these new listings, we helped four buyers get under contract. The furthest away was a view condo in Des Moines and the closest was our neighbor’s floating home. We also dropped the price on our historic Fremont listing to $949k (open tomorrow from 1-4pm, hosted by Troy) and are still looking for a loft lover for our Trace listing.
With all these new listings, surprisingly not much caught our eye except a super cool townhome on Lakeview, a penthouse loft at Trace North, a brand new net-zero home in Ballard, an airy Mount Baker view home, and this Bellevue mid-century ready to be updated.
Also, the numbers for August are in – the median price for single-family homes is essentially flat year-over-year but down from its peak this year in May. Meanwhile the median price for condos is down 15% year-over-year.
