Weekly wrap-up: good new listings in December!?
A surprising number of good listings this past week as the number of new listings more than doubled after the Thanksgiving break. Buyer interest did not recover though.
If you’re looking for a move-in-ready home check out this flip in Magnolia (impressive turn around time!) and another in Madison Park (a little sad to see some of the wood interior siding go). Less recently remodeled is this mid-century in Denny Blaine. I also like this timeless contemporary in Madison Park.
If you’re looking for a project – please save this Paul Hayden Kirk on the Eastside (too late, already pending), or check out this view Magnolia mid-century by José Montaño.
Last week our floating home got a new TPO membrane roof. Nice to have a roof on it as it has leaked for 18 months, leaked for this previous owner (it had been supposedly fixed) and the owner before that. When we finally removed it we actually found four leaks and a ton of mold.
Thinking of buying or selling in 2021? Happy to chat on the phone, over Zoom or meet outside.
PS. mortgage rates hit another low. Re-fi if you haven’t recently!
PPS. design review boards need reforming. This Queen Anne project not getting approved is ridiculous.
